Teatrini (1994–2001) – Theatrical Compositions

The Teatrini cycle originates from the idea of constructing small theatrical scenes in which colored forms interlock as if positioned on a stage. As in the works dedicated to the white line, linearity remains central. The shapes are concrete and defined by a white outline that articulates their contours with clarity and rhythm.

Produced primarily in painted plywood, these works possess a direct and playful character while maintaining formal precision. Among the principal works are Corner Light, The Dancers, and Geste de Tulipe. A version of Corner Light was also developed in aluminum for outdoor installation.
