La Linea Bianca (1991–1997) – Painting Cycle by Beatriz Millar

The Linea Bianca cycle emerged from the intention to assign equal value to every element within the composition. Flat figures, devoid of modeling, coexist with ordinary everyday objects—a flower, a cat, a table. Between them, empty space retains equivalent visual weight and presence.

These works adopt a deliberately reduced language. Line continues to function as the primary narrative device, without facial features or descriptive detail. Pure color defines the composition, and within this controlled balance, all elements are resolved into form.
